This continuously evolving project showcases the seamless partnership between the clients and their trusted designers, Lauren and Kakin, as they collaborated over the years to transform multiple spaces in two homes.
With their project scope initially beginning with a nursery and multifunctional home office that also served as a guest bedroom, the design journey has grown to include a dining room, a full re-furnishing of their previous home for Airbnb, and now the furnishing of their new home, including a garage conversion into a home office. With each phase, Lauren and Kakin have skillfully blended aesthetics and function, adapting pieces from old spaces to seamlessly fit

I came across Curated Studio trying to find someone to help with a tricky design problem: I needed help turning our then guest bedroom into a nursery and our current office into a guest room that doubled as an office. I believe I was a somewhat atypical client in that I wasn’t looking for a full home redesign or plan and had a more limited budget. I had no experience using interior designers and was intimidated by the process. Kakin and Lauren put me immediately at ease and really listened to my goals and fully considered my budget and concerns. The end result was beyond anything I could have hoped for. It was truly magic. We continue to use them for projects and I continue to be in awe of their skill every time. I would not hesitate to recommend them for any size project or budget (and I have).
